The Atoll Electronique CD50 Signature CD Player is a top-of-the-range model designed to achieve the most precise reading of commercial CDs and burned CDs ( CD-R and CD-RW in MP3 , WMA or AAC formats). To do this, it benefits from a pure class A analog output stage and a set of four power supplies. Signal conversion is entrusted to a high-precision Burr Brown PCM1793 DAC.

Atoll CD50 Signature: CDs, CD-Rs and CD-RWs
The Atoll CD50 Signature CD player is entirely designed and assembled in France according to strict audiophile standards. It implements a pure Teac audio playback mechanism compatible with commercial CDs , as well as with CD-Rs and CD-RWs containing MP3 , WMA or AAC files . To provide optimum operating conditions for the various elements, the Atoll CD50 Signature playerbenefits from a set of four regulated power supplies, including a linear transformer supply for the audio stages and a 30 VA linear transformer supply for the digital stages. These power supplies are associated with a symmetrical diagram and an output stage with polarized discrete components in class A, served by a large current capacity of 8,192 µF.

Atoll CD50 Signature: DAC Burr Brown 
To guarantee optimal decoding of digital disc streams, the Atoll CD50 Signature player features a Burr Brown PCM1793 DAC. This top-of-the-range model has a dedicated double power supply to limit disturbances and ensure very good operating conditions. Thanks to this design, the Atoll CD50 Signature player guarantees perfect conversion of the streams present on the CDs .

On its rear panel, the Atoll CD50 Signature CD player provides a fixed RCA output, as well as two digital outputs (one optical and one coaxial). It can thus be directly connected to a hi-fi amplifier or be associated with an external DAC. Finally, CDs can be controlled very easily from the control interface on the front of the Atoll CD50 Signature player or from its remote control.

The Atoll CD50 Signature CD player is equipped with an analog output and two optical outputs. Integrating a high-precision TEAC drive and a high-end converter, the Atoll CD50 Signature is a first-choice drive to fully enjoy its CD , CD-R and CD-RW discs.

Remote Control:
All CD players are equipped with a serial remote that allows to control other ATOLL’s devices (Integrated, preamp, Tuner, DAC). It also allows several basic functions of the CD player such as program, repeat, random, etc.

OPTIONAL DAC BOARD:
The CD50 Signature can be equipped with an optional board including 3 digital inputs:
– 1 digital input Coaxial (24 bits/192kHz)
– 1 digital input Optical (24 bits/192kHz)
– 1 USB input:PCM from 16 bits to 24bits up to 192 kHz (asynchronous). USB : XMOS with specific program designed for ATOLL.
