No type of integrated circuit is used in the Spettro. Everything has been designed for the state of the art. Spettro has a pair of parallel preamplifiers per channel (Dual Drive System), with the main intention of halving the output impedance. In fact Spettro has four preamplifiers inside, this allows to have more signal control. It is capable of emitting an audio signal of truly amazing speed and dynamics. Power amplifiers driven by this preamplifier can really express all their possibilities. Between the phono and the line stage there are 7 double triodes and all the components are highly selected and custom made. Furthermore, the power transformer is designed and manufactured in our company. The Spettro, of course, can be combined with any type of power amps and thanks to its main characteristics and the low output impedance it facilitates the various possible combinations, but with our mono amplifiers or with one of our integrated ones using the "Direct" input certainly expresses its potential to the maximum. A new concept in preamp technology that revolutionizes what has been done so far.

Output Transformer
One of the most important components in creating a good tube amplifier is the output transformer.

At MastersounD output transformers are wrapped one at a time by hand on a mechanical winding machine, based on the experience, passion and the research of Mr. Cesare Sanavio.

He then transmitted such knowledge to his son Mr. Luciano Sanavio who succeeded in the great challenge of further innovating it in a surprising way. and introducing an innovative and unique construction technique that makes MastersounD output transformer unique in the world.

This precious tradition is the cornerstone of the outstanding quality of our amplifiers, which offer an exceptional performance thanks to their special output transformers. Great dynamics, power and harmonic richness, are the characteristics that a class A tube amplifier can and must have without the classic limitations imposed by traditional output transformers.

Because of this MastersounD, it keeps its secret very carefully.

Tubes Selection
MastersounD tubes selection is the result of decades of research around the world for the best vacuum tubes manufacturers. This continuous research allows us to always select the best tubes in terms of sound quality. Our tubes are readily available and supplied by reliable companies.

Selected tubes undergo thorough quality control tests to ensure maximum reliability and performance.

After installing them on our amplifiers, the two channel waves are carefully aligned.
This step is essential for the perfect stereophonic listening.

Tubes are then tested for almost 48 hours on the amplifiers before packing them and shipping around the world.

The chassis is made of steel, a material that in addition to requiring less energy and heat for its production is truly sustainable, because it can be re-melted and then reused.
